Beeks—I know Anita from a couple of the beekeeping conferences I have been to. She is the state apiary inspector in Pennsylvania. This is her recommendation for responding to a pesticide poisoning incident in a beehive. I had written to her after the big kill in my hive at home—that the bees have seemingly recovered from. Susan
Hi Susan,
Glad to hear your hive recovered! Bees are amazing and so resilient! After I sent you that email it went viral and even appeared on some beekeeping groups around here. I wrote this post “7 Steps to Take After a Honey Bee Pesticide Kill” inspired by yours and others bee kills and my email to you. Please feel free to share!
