Hello All,
My name is Justin, I work at an art studio in Hollywood. We store old apple boxes by the hundreds in our back lot.
Turns out they are an ideal place for honey bees. We have had a wild bee colony in some of the boxes for nearly two years (THESE ARE NOT BEE BOXES). I’ve just noticed another colony pop up the other day. I cant imagine the amount of honey that is in there!
I would love someone to come and safely remove these little fellas. They are very active, and as much as I love bees, I know when to draw the line as far as intervention.
I’d love to hear any solutions, even into the idea of keeping a proper bee box, so they can stay in the neighborhood. Whatever is best for the bees!!!
Let me know if anyone can help!!
-Justin
Thanks Justin—hope someone in your area responds. By the way, they are not fellas, but ladies. Drones are raised for brief periods as sperm donors and sinks for mites
Hi Justin,

Thanks,
George
