Home › Forums › HoneyLove Forum › How to keep a captured swarm to stay in a hive i put them in.
Hello everyone,
I removed a swarm from somebodies patio and i put them into a hive box .I put lemongrass into the hive to encourage them to stay, also i put garlic on the bee’s because there were some bee’s leftover from the hive that flew away.I didnt block the entrance so they had a free will of to stay or fly away. The next day there were only a few bee’s left of the thousands that i put into there from the capture swarm.
Anybody have any suggestiones on what to do on my next captured swarm? Thanks for any help!!
God Bless,
Elisha
