Beeks—I was just out to Pierce-Mieras and purchased a hive carrier—a device that allows 2 people to easily and safely pick up and move a hive of 3 deeps, all as a unit. If someone needs to use one, I am posting that I have it. To defray the cost of purchase, though (it was $75) I will ask folks to rent it from me—$10 Thanks Susan

If you’ve got to move hives, a hive mover is the fastest, slickest, easiest way to go!

About susan rudnicki

Been beekeeping almost 5 years now. Have 27 hives,(2 client hives) I work with the City of Manhattan Beach, re-homing bees in conflict with citizens. Allowed to keep bees at the Public Works yard (19 hives) in exchange for this work. I do many presentations for HoneyLove, teach bee students, rescue bees and sell honey.
