    So, I happened upon this nefarious listing of “How-to” exterminate all sorts of insects, but a nice long list of honeybee killers/repellents. One whole list involves using chemical-laden dryer sheets that the person should wipe on their skin, put on their clothing, or hang from various points around the picnic site to “deter those pesky bees going after the soda drinks” Sounds more like yellow jackets, gourmands of sugar and fats and meat. I thought this site weirdly twisted!

Been beekeeping almost 5 years now. Have 27 hives,(2 client hives) I work with the City of Manhattan Beach, re-homing bees in conflict with citizens. Allowed to keep bees at the Public Works yard (19 hives) in exchange for this work. I do many presentations for HoneyLove, teach bee students, rescue bees and sell honey.
