At our first HoneyLove Natural Beekeeping conference in August 2016, the brilliant May Berenbaum spoke about (among other things) the relative value of various plant pollens in aiding bees to detoxify from pesticide exposure. I have searched and searched for a paper on that topic but guess she hasn’t yet published. Did anyone keep better notes than I did?
As chair of my local California Rare Fruit Growers chapter, I try to encourage both organic gardening and the planting of bee-friendly flowers. I would love to have the ammo to push the most protective pollen-sources. Thanks.
