I rescued bees about 4 years ago through Backwards Beekeepers. Roberta was my amazing mentor. Our hive was happy and healthy for years. We had three successful honey harvests and even made mead in our garage with the 12 pounds of honey we harvested last summer. Sadly, we then got what we believe was European Foulbrood. We had to burn our box and are starting over from scratch.
I now have a brand new hive ready to go, but am in need of some new starter wax and would like to rescue some bees. I live by LAX. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated! I loved my bees and miss them.
