    Hi,

    I have had a beehive on a flat roof of small room behind my house for two years. My son was helping me crush and strain, but he can’t do it anymore. I find it too difficult. I have four “medium” standard size boxes containing 10-frames in each. Anyone wishing to help me may keep half the honey. It probably has 20 – 30 lbs of honey right now.     Will you have already separated the boxes from the hive, or do you need help with an escape board and harvesting, etc.?

    Christy,

    I have been paying someone to manage the hives. But when they take down the frames and give them to me, I don’t have special equipment to crush and strain, and it is very difficult for me. I first found the hive and honey in my attic. I decided to try to save it and set it up in the backyard on a flat roof of a room behind my house. I thought I might be able to learn how to do it, but realized it was not to be. I would like to sell all of it one day soon. But, for now, it has lots of honey and it would great to harvest it.

    Hi Lillian,

    I left you a voice mail yesterday. I’m around today (Wednesday) until 10 a.m., and between 1-4. Tomorrow call anytime after 9 a.m. and before 4:30 p.m.
