I do wildlife rehabilitation and a swarm decided to settle in one of my release nest boxes after the squirrels left. The homeowner has an allergic child and wants the box gone asap but it MUST be gone before Friday 8/2. The bees are already in a box,the opening just needs to be covered and the box taken down from the tree. The box is reachable from a standard ladder which is already on site. I don’t have bee equipment or I would do it myself. My email is jadlof@gmail.com or you can text me at 818-652-3613.
Hi. Please tell us where (in what town) the swarm is located.
Thanks!
Sherman Oaks in the title. If the bees are moved very far they may need a screened top due to the valley heat. Too long in a closed box with the valley heat and they may die.
