Tagged: land for bees
I have a house in Highland Park with a nice yard. I am not a beekeeper – just a bee supporter. Is anyone looking to keep bees in our part of town who needs a place to do so?
The location needs to be sunny location and a part of your yard that is out of the way and away so as to minimize disruption, out of landowners way. I need free and ready access to the hive, so the owner is not bothered every time I need to tend to the hive. Because of the nature of keeping bees, I need access to the yard 24/7 (sometimes things are done to the hive at night while the bees are all inside of the hive and not out foraging, and while they are calm and resting. Other times it is best to maintain the hive during the middle of the day when a lot of the bees are out of the hive and out foraging.) and there needs to be a water source. It doesn’t take very much land. I would prefer a location out of the public view.
I think we may meet your needs. Would you like to come and see the yard?

Yes Mary
I would love to see your location.
How do we do that ?
Email me and I will give you my home address. We can set up a date and time.
