Hi there,
We have a hollow tree on our parkway near West Hollywood. It has been active on and off for several years. This year it seems to be very busy and there is a beard growing on one of the branches. I’m sure it could be adopted if someone is looking for a new hive. Any insight about what we could/should do to keep it happy and thriving. Thanks!
Without a specific location or contact information, no one can get these bees.
Best to leave it where it is. The parkway is likely city property and they may have an arrangement with a bee rescuer in their area. Rescuing from inside a tree is not as simple as it seems. Thanks for keeping a look out.
