    : Honey Weight by Volume?

1 gal. of honey by volume=12lbs. of honey by weight [192oz.]
1 qt. of honey by volume=3lbs. of honey by weight [48oz.]
1 pt. of honey by volume=1.5lbs. of honey by weight [24oz.]
1 cup of honey by volume= .75lbs. of of honey by weight [12oz.]

So, this means I took 180 pounds from 2 hives last week with Josip’s extractor!!

Good job Susan. Urban bees rock! I’ve talked to a couple of professional beekeepers in the Antelope Valley the last couple of weeks who are already having to feed their bees. This year could be even worse than last year.
